About Me

My name is Kathi Johnson, and I live in the DFW Metroplex in North Texas. I serve as a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and I love, love, love it. My professional blog can be found here.

Hubby and I have been married since 2004. I have a stepson who lives with his mom in Maine. Hubby and I have a miniature schnauzer named Max. I have wonderful friends who are like family, and a wonderful extended family, too.

I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in March of 2013. I decided it was time for me to process some of this out-loud and publicly because I feel like what I'm going through must be similar to what others go through. We have this incredible tool - called the internet - to help us find one another and support one another...why not?
